Via this column, he shares his advice on topics such as career growth, how to deal with managers, career direction, what certifications
to take for career advancement, and more.
Eric also keeps a pulse on the IT industry, especially current and evolving IT megatrends such as cloud computing and virtualization,
and provides insights on how these will affect IT management and individual careers.
Eric has undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from Bentley University and an MBA from Babson College.

Prior to founding Manager Mechanics, Eric held senior IT leadership positions at The Boston Company Asset Management,
Monster Worldwide, Independence Investments, and Fidelity Investments.
Eric began his career as a software developer and moved up through the ranks to CIO, providing a keen understanding of IT management and careers
